Addrit offers two data interfaces that can be used by any application.

Examples are:

• using by VBA macros (for example in Word)
• customization to specific operational requirements
• using in address book applications

This makes it possible to use Addrit with self-developed macros (VBA) in the programs of Microsoft Office. Thus, the program can be extended to currently unsupported programs such as Excel.

Developer of programs can use the data interface to insert a previously by the user selected address into a Word document by Addrit, this may optionally also call the configuration window for the address.

Methods of the Interface

The following methods are available:

• GetContact: to retrieve an address with the search programs of Addrit, the AddressViewer. The address can optionally be configured.

• InsertContact: to insert an address into the Word document. This address can optionally be configured.
