Installing the Certificate

The Word add-in the Addrit is equipped with a digital signature. For this a "self created certificate" was used. This certificate must be installed on your computer so that the macro security in word can be set to "medium" or "high". This is necessary only for Word XP and Word 2003.

This can proceed as follows:

1. Install current version of Addrit.

2. Start Word, with macro security level set to "medium" or "high".

3. Install the certificate into the certificate store "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" using the indicated window of the "Security Warning".

4. Restart Word.

5. In the window of the "Security Warning" set the option "Always trust macros from this publisher" and enable macros.

6. With subsequent starts of Word no more safety warning to Addrit is shown.
